Through the research, monetary policy was identified in terms of concept, role and components, and the study dealt with economic theories in monetary policy, then the structure and development of monetary policy in the Arab Republic of Egypt was examined during the study period. The research also presented concepts of poverty, its different types and methods of measuring it, then, we covered poverty measurement in Egypt and the most important causes of poverty in Egypt. Moreover, an analysis and measurement of the impact of monetary policy on poverty was carried out through a study of several monetary policy indicators, whether direct or indirect where modern standard methods were used, ranging from time series analysis to joint integration testing and a self-regression vector model and Variation analysis., the study showed that there is a significant statistically significant effect of monetary policy tools, whether direct or indirect, on reducing poverty rates in Egypt during the study period.
