Abstract

Economic theory suggests that the current account of the balance of payments desired by the state must meet the criterion of sustainability, where sustainability refers to the continued ability of the state to finance the current account deficit The current account is one of the indicators of the economic performance of the state A persistent current account deficit leads to more serious problems for the economy and may require a rapid response in economic policies. And specifically Therefore, in recent years, policy makers and economists have become increasingly interested in examining the sustainability of the current account deficit in both developed and developing countries, in order to determine whether this deficit is sustainable.Sustainability refers to the stable state of the external balance, so that no economic forces change it.
