A Structural Model for Measuring the Impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Sustainable Banking Performance: An Empirical Study on the Egyptian Banking Sector.

Abstract

This research aimed to measure the impact of the Entrepreneurial Orientation with its three variables (ProactiveOrientation, InnovationOrientation, Risk Orientation) on Sustainable Banking Performance (Environmental sustainability, social sustainability, ethical sustainability) in the Egyptian Banking Sector. The researcher relied on the deductive approach through reviewing previous research, then deriving assumptions and statistically testing them based on field study data, The researcher relied on the method of simple random sample, the research sample reached (382) singles, and the number of valid lists (304) list with a response rate of (79.6%), and the proposed model was tested through the structural equations model (SEM) through a program (AMOS V.24). The results concluded that the entrepreneurial approach positively affects sustainable banking performance. The research also found through a path analysis that there is a positive impact of all variables of the entrepreneurial orientation (Proactive Orientation, Innovation Orientation, Risk Orientation) on sustainable banking performance with its three variables (environmental sustainability, social sustainability, ethical sustainability). Sustainability tools for banking performance, which are social, environmental and ethical sustainability. Through development and innovation in community development and financial inclusion programs, integrating environmental sustainability practices into banking performance, and performing all operations ethically by following the principles of integrity, impartiality, reliability and transparency to contribute to building a sustainable banking system.
