The economic dimensions of administrative corruption phenomenon and their impact on sustainable development with application on Egypt

Abstract

This research aimes to identify the economic dimensions of the phenomenon of administrative corruption. and the extend of its various impacts on the process of sustainable development with an application on the case of Egypt. The research addressed the concept of administrative corruption, forms, its elements and its negative effects, with an emphasis on economic causes and effects. After explaining the main out come of the research about reasons and results of administrative corruption the research recommend the following steps to fight administrative corruption in Egypt: (a) Increasing the efficacy and performance of public section and government administrations and addressing the phenomenon of shadow economy; (b) Converting performance and planing budgets instead of fund’s budget; (c) Achieving conditions average different governmental authorties performing audeting and control and regulating bodies to direct and intrgrate these efforts in fighting  administrative corruption; (d) Stimulate entrepreneurship and support the financial inclusion and reformes of public enterprises.
