Abstract

The research aimed to study and analyze the impact of Workplace Social Support on Job Performance of employees in the administrative apparatus at Beni Suef University, and testing the role of organizational Identification as a mediating variable that can explain this relationship. To achieve this goal, the researcher selected a random sample of 251 individual employees of the administrative apparatus at Beni Suef University. Based on structural equation modeling, the research concluded that: there is a direct, positive, and significant effect of workplace social support on organizational identification, and there is a direct, positive, and significant effect of organizational identification on job performance. The results also indicated that there is a direct, positive, and significant effect of workplace social support on job performance. The results also founded that organizational identification had a partial mediating role explaining the effect of workplace social support on job performance of employees of the administrative apparatus at Beni Suef University.
