The Positive Role of Digital Transformation in Activating Human Resources Management Practices on Institutional Excellence By Applied to the Banking Sector in Syria

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of human resource management practices (training and development, recruitment and testing, compensation and benefits, occupational safety and health) on institutional excellence (leadership excellence, human resources excellence, cognitive excellence, excellence in providing service) through digital transformation (digital transformation culture, Innovation, digital infrastructure, digital skills for workers). To achieve the purposes of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach, as the current study relied on the questionnaire as a main tool for collecting primary data. Where the questionnaires were distributed after conducting the necessary tests to verify the validity of the study tool on a random sample consisting of (365) managers in banks institutes.
After collecting the data, it was analyzed through specialized statistical programs such as SPSS25 and AMOS22 programs, where various statistical tests and measures such as correlation and regression were conducted.
The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is, there is an impact of human resource management practices on institutional excellence. And there is impact of human resource management practices on digital transformation. And there is impact of digital transformation on institutional excellence. And finally human resource management practices affect organizational excellence through digital transformation, the partial mediating variable in the relationship.
