Abstract
Increased attention in recent years to the concept of green supply chain management (GSCM), in line with the growing interest in environmental issues and the role of organizations in achieving sustainable development and environmental conservation and responding to internal and external pressures by stakeholders interested in issues and environmental considerations (Diaby et al., 2015; Yu et al., 2014; Dubey et al., 2017) The practice of organizations over the last 10 years has been to design and plan their operations and activities on how to achieve environmental requirements and Meeting the stakeholders' demands for environmentally friendly products and activities directed at (Li et al., 2016; Hong et al., 2017). Of course, competitive considerations have played a role Is essential in the organizations' efforts to adopt practices aimed at achieving environmental objectives and to satisfy stakeholders such as government, customers, suppliers, senior management, employees and the local community by achieving a high level of financial, operational and environmental performance, ultimately achieving the competitive advantage of the organization. et al., 2008; Villanueva-Ponce et al., 2015; Feng & Wang, 2016) Current studies in supply chain management have addressed the relationship between green supply chain management practices and stakeholder pressures and the impact of this relationship on improving the organization's performance through the organization's reputation and its reflection on financial results And positive operational, on the one hand, and on improving the environmental performance of the organization on the other. (Chuck et al., 2016; Kirchoff et al., 2016; Zeng & Yang, 2016); and after reviewing the latest literature In the field of supply chain management, the researcher noted an increasing trend in green supply chain management as well as linking the practices of supply chain management with environmental dimensions and their impact on improving the performance of the organization. As well as increasing attention to issues of sustainable development, which is the most comprehensive concept, which resulted in the emergence of a broader research approach, which is the sustainable supply chain, which in turn is interested in studying the role of supply chain management in achieving the sustainability of environmental resources. (Diabat et al., 2013; Tachizaawa et al., 2015; Sada et al., 2015; Younis et al., 2016; Va-npoucke et al., 2016; 2017)
