Abstract

The Paris Climate Conference in December 2015 affirmed the imperative of developing global environmental policies in the 21st century, and the need to deal with the issues of environmental transformations and threats, whether resulting from nature or humans more seriously, as closely related to world security and development, Arab countries, where environmental risks are not given due attention to the quality of life, and the prospects for comprehensive and continuous development in those countries or the world, and even threaten the lives and security of human beings both now and in future for future generations. A new security is human security that links security and development, and maintains environmental considerations in policies. The previous proposal points to the importance of developing environmental policies in the Arab countries in proportion to their importance to the lives of the individual and communities, which raises the issue of the relationship between environmental threats and security as well as the negative effects of current environmental policies on the comprehensive and continuous development that has become part of the principles and objectives of the policies of countries in the world. The Arab region as declared by the Arab countries, as well as the various countries of the world.
